Princesses and dogs..

Awww.. today my kids and I went to see the spring party of my grand children's day care center. The theme and the story line for the party was Sleeping Beaty and my grand daughter Laila was one of the dancing and singing princesses. My grandson Ali was a little dog lol ♥ .

I was just planning to take my kids home after playing out for hours, when my daughter Nadia called me and asked if we want to go and see the spring party of her kids, my grand kids. My kids had just been complaining that all their friends left home, so they got really exited and wanted to go..

The party was made outside in the playground of the day care center. Alhamdulilah the weather was pretty nice and sunny.. The day before it was raining and very cold, so we were really happy about it.

When we arrived, I saw that almost all the families from our houses were there, because everyone's kids go to the same day care. My kids were so happy to see all their friends. They found places to sit down and left me alone with my camera :P .

The teachers had built a huge castle prop. The show started like sleeping beauty always does: the king and the queen wish for a child, a fairy promises that they will get one. Then the princess was born and the fairies gave her the gifts.. y'all know the rest.

I don't know why, but anyway some group of little dogs belong to the story :D . It was the baby group of the day care lol, Ali is one of them. They were so cute and funny! They were supposed to growl, sleep, hold their tales etc.. Well, some of them did.. Sometimes :P . I must say that Ali is quite a clever boy for a 2-year-old, he did almost everything right. Only once the nanny had to tell him what to do. It was after the little doggies were sleeping.. He forgot to get up :DDD .. Lol the whole performance of the baby group was hilarious!

Laila's group were singing and dancing. They made 'Black Cat's tango' and ' Woolen sock'.. In Finnish of course :P . She had been singing one of the songs for a long time already and we had been waiting to hear the real version, because Laila's version was a little bit funny :D . Well.. Let's say that we recognized the song, but that's all lol.. Laila and her friends performed really well mashaAllah.

After the party all the children got ice cream. I was so surprised that my little ones asked me if they can go and get ice cream too, or if it's only for those who go to that day care. I thought they'd just run and be first in the queue.. Seems like they are not that hopeless after all.. They know how to behave at least somewhere :D .

Alhamdulilah we had a good time! Thanks Laila and Ali for making a good show! ♥

Simply beautiful

I love nature and here in Finland we have plenty of that mashaAllah. It's still spring, so everything is not green yet, but the last couple of warm days have got everything grow so much subhanaAllah!

I've had a long day, so I won't say more, just post some pictures for yall to see.

mashaAllah!

Verily, in the creation of the heavens and of the earth, and the succession of night and day: and in the ships that speed through the sea with what is useful to man: and in the waters which God sends down from the sky, giving life thereby to the earth after it had, been lifeless, and causing all manner of living creatures to multiply thereon: and in the change of the winds, and the clouds that run their appointed courses between sky and earth: [in all this] there are messages indeed for people who use their reason. Beautiful Spring MashaAllah!

In the north we have four totally different seasons.
Here you can really feel the spring.

And I love it! MashaAllah!

I don't love winter though,
but if we didn't have that,
the spring wouldn't be like this either!

It's so lovely to see the nature waking up.
The grayish brown turns to green!

This year it's a bit late,
thanks to long and hard winter,
but it's finally happening!

We already have the first flowers!

It will still take time for the trees to turn green,
but InshaAllah it won't take too long!

Thank You Allah for all the four seasons!
Thank You for spring!

A beautiful, sunny day at the luna park!

Salam Aleikum ladies!

Today we woke up for a beautiful, sunny day mashaAllah! I wanted to do something fun with the kids so i got an idea. Like every spring, the traveling luna park is in town. They bring it here for the 1st of May festival, but because we don't celebrate it nor we like the way it's celebrated here in Finland, I prefer to go there on another day. So, today was the day!

So I called Nadia, my daughter, in the morning and asked if she'd like to come with us and take Laila and Ali there. She got exited, so we dressed the kids up and left. YAY!

The kids were soooo exited mashaAllah! They all got to try different equipment (is that what you call all those things? :D ). Donjana was brave enough to go to one which is meant for adults and bigger children while I was busy putting Ali to a carousel. Ali was so serious riding his motorbike. He chose it over police car, fire car, formula, rabbit, squirrel, camel etc.. lol he is a MAN! mashaAllah!

All the kids except Ali went to a big swing carousel. First Nader was a bit concern that he'll fall off of it, ut he ended up loving it! They all enjoyed it so much mashaAllah!

Next thing was the jumping cars! The kids had a blast! Ali + Deena and Laila + Nader, two couples, were lucky to have two steering wheels in their cars lol.. I wonder what would happen if real cars would have two as well.. I'm pretty sure that men would go nuts! :P

Of course there's also a traditional horse carousel in all this kind of places. As expected, Deena had to ride a horse. It's a must for her every time we go there! Ali and Laila chose a carriage.. Laila said it's for Cinderella.. Of course. She is such a romantic girl and loves princess stories mashaAllah.

While Deena, Ali and Laila were in a horse carousel Nader wanted to be a flying saucer pilot lol! He loved it! MashaAllah!

While I was waiting for the kids I was playing with my camera. Front lcd is so cool ;). When I took a pic of myself, other people thought I'm shooting at the kids :D .

Everyone got a chance to have fun alhamdulilah! Even Nadia and I went to one thingy, which is called Waltzer. We asked a class room mate of hers to watch the kids so we could go together. YAY! I haven't got that experience in a while.. In a few years I would say..

There was also a show, where a man rode a motorbike on a string up to the Giant Wheel. Another man was hanging under it in a metal swing. The kids liked it and were really exited.

Before we left we went to the Giant Wheel all together. Nader the Man was spinning our 'basket' all the time really fast. It was so funny, like he had to show his muscles and man power mashaAllah. He was the one who didn't actually want to go to the wheel, but when the time was up we had to tell him to stop spinning so that we could step down from our 'basket'.

After all the fun we bought some candy floss and started walking to the bus stop. Alhamdulilah we didn't have to wait too long. waiting is not actually so much fun with the kids..

Everyne was hungry, so before going home we took the kids to eat hamburgers to Hesburger, the best local burger restaurant. The food was really tasty, like always mashaAllah. Not so healthy though, but it's not something we do every day so it's not so bad :P . And of course the kids had to get a chance to play a bit in Hesburgers 'sea of balls' before we headed home.

It was a long, fun day and we got home exhausted. Nader had to throw a little fit in the bus on the way back. I guess his day is just not complete without one.. He wanted to sit alone in the other end of the bus. We told him he can sit alone near us, but he wasn't happy about it. He wanted to go and sit between strangers so far that i wouldn't see him. I didn't let him, so we had a 'concert' all the way back home. But the rest of the day was really nice! :D

Alhamdulilah for this kind of lovely days I get to spend with my loved ones! ♥ InshaAllah there's many more to come!

WOO it's spring!

MashaAllah mashaAllah finally, after a long, cold winter the spring is here! I can't tell how much i've been waiting for it! along with the nature i kind of wake up too!

my garden needed sooooooooooooo much work, but alhamdulilah i've got most of it done.. i had some help from nadia and the little ones mashaAllah.

it's still so early and spring is really late this year. i can't even cut most of my roses, because it doesn't show anything green in them to know what's still alive.. looks like i don't need to cut grass any time soon. maybe in june :D . my tulips are barely up a couple of cm's. inshaAllah they'll bloom before autumn.. i AM a patient person, but when it comes to my garden - NO! no patience there..:D

today my kids had a snack outside the first time this year. YAYNESS! now we just need a little bit warmer weather and i'm happyyyyy! like no need for winter jacket, which i had on today :O . yes, it's true! because it was so windy! i'm not just saying. it was really cold even if it was nice and sunny!

mashaAllah summer is here soon! everything will get green and blooming inshaAllah! i can't wait!
